1. The mechanical seal is mainly composed of a housing, a moving ring, a stationary ring, 8 resetting compensation springs, and an "O" type seal ring.
2. One set of seal ring and stationary ring is closed by two metal surfaces with high surface finish to close the shell oil. When the spindle rotates at high speed, there is a very small amount of hydraulic oil to lubricate the metal joint surface. To protect the spindle and extend the life of the shaft seal.
3. When the user determines whether to leak oil, wipe the shaft end surface clean. After the pump is running for 2 hours, if there is no oil leakage, it is considered normal.
4. The biggest advantage of this type of shaft seal is that it avoids the wear of the spindle. It only needs to grind the moving ring and static ring to meet the requirements of use, and it has a longer life and the lowest maintenance cost.
5. Disassemble mechanical seal steps and precautions:
a. Clean the mechanical seal surface and remove the retainer with a snap-in pliers.
b. Use a screwdriver to gently pull out the mechanical seal housing and remove the moving ring sleeved on the shaft by hand. Note: When placing, the joints of the moving ring and the stationary ring face up, do not hurt, and do not lose the return spring.
c. Clean the accessories that need to be installed (including replacement and maintenance accessories).
Note: When the accessories are cleaned, they must be cleaned one by one. Be careful not to injure them.
d. Install the O-ring first into the groove in the moving ring, apply evenly with butter, and press it by hand onto the shaft. Note: You can only press with your hand, you can not knock with foreign objects, to be assembled in place.
e. Install the O-ring into the groove in the mechanical seal housing and apply evenly with butter.
There are 8 reset springs, and the static ring will be jammed by hand. Note: After installation, it is required that the static ring be pressed by hand to reset flexibly without any card movement .
f. Install the O-ring on the mechanical seal housing, apply evenly with butter, press it by hand, and gently tap it in. Note: When tapping, force evenly without knocking or squeezing the O-ring.
g. Card is good circlip. Note that the retainer is in place .
