With Chaochao Electric's 4102-C3 engine matching the JAC "N721" high-end light truck project nearing the end, on August 5, 2010, the relevant leaders of the Chaochai company came to the technical center of Jianghuai Automobile Co., Ltd. to carry out technical exchanges.
In this project, Jianghuai Motor Co., Ltd. equipped a new cab with two mature models that match the existing HFC1061 (with CY4102-C3D)/HFC1083 (with Xichai CA4DF3-13-E3), and has a quality requirement for the overall performance of the engine and the vehicle. The leap of a boutique project aims to reach or catch up with Japan's Isuzu. The project is a big investment by Jianghuai invested nearly 300 million yuan to create a full-scale boutique car, and more importantly, this project will serve as a key product of JAC in the next few years and bear the heavy responsibility of realizing a new benchmark for the transformation of the light truck brand.
Zhaochai reviewed the previous work of the 4102-C3 engine. According to the requirements of JAC, Chaochai established the “N721†project team to develop the 4102-C3D-V02E series engine that meets JAC requirements. Requirements: Designed and developed thirteen kinds of parts such as soundproof gear chamber covers, soundproof cylinder head covers, wiring harnesses, superchargers, and multi-state switches, which will increase engine power and economy by more than 5%; engine noise will be reduced on an original basis. 2 ~ 3dB; the engine uses multi-state switch control, an engine with 70kW, 80kW, 88kW three power. This engine meets the requirements of JAC to improve the performance of the entire vehicle with excellent performance.
The N721 special engine developed by Chaochai has received unanimous recognition from Jianghuai for its excellent power and economy and satisfactory NVH noise reduction. At present, Jianghuai has temporarily abandoned several products such as Xichai in this project, and has fully introduced Chaochao's high-quality power. We hope that Dawnwood's product accessories and product reliability will have greater improvement.
