Large-scale sulfuric acid production plant in China has basically achieved localization

As the world's largest sulphuric acid producing country, breakthroughs have been made in the large-scale production and localization of China's sulphuric acid production facilities during the “Tenth Five-Year Plan” period. Large and medium-sized acid plant equipment has been basically domesticated, and investment in equipment has been greatly reduced.
From the National Sulfuric Acid Industry Conference held in Guiyang recently, it was learned that after the first time that China's sulfuric acid production surpassed the United States in 2003, it ranked first in the world for three consecutive years. By the end of 2005, China had developed a sulfuric acid production capacity of 55.50 million tons, and the country’s production of sulfuric acid products has been able to meet the needs of various types of production of fertilizers, chemicals, light industry, steel, and textiles.
Lv Qingsheng, president of the China Sulfuric Acid Industry Association, said that the sulfuric acid production from sulfuric acid, sulfuric acid production from sulphur and smelting of flue gas from the sulfuric acid industry have been formed in China's sulfuric acid industry. At present, China produces an annual output of 20,000 to 400,000.
