**Brief Introduction of Sand Casting:**
Sand casting is one of the oldest and most widely used metal forming techniques in the industry today. It's highly versatile and can produce both small and large components from a wide range of materials.
Our company offers three main types of sand casting: green sand, resin sand, and water glass sand. These methods are suitable for both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. For example, green sand casting is commonly used for grey iron and ductile iron, with parts ranging from 0.05 kg to 15,000 kg. The largest part size we can handle is up to 5000mm x 2000mm x 1500mm. We use various molding techniques such as floor hand molding, jolt squeezer lines, and automatic molding lines to meet different customer needs.
Steel sand castings are available in both resin and water glass sand processes, and they can be made from plain carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel. The smallest steel casting we offer is around 1 kg, while the largest can reach up to 20 tons. For smaller steel parts, we recommend investment casting (lost wax) instead.
For non-ferrous materials, we also provide sand casting using green sand. Our range includes aluminum and copper alloys, with parts weighing from 0.1 kg to 100 kg.
We ensure that all first article samples come with material certifications and layout drawings. Custom inspection reports are also available upon request. Additionally, we perform secondary operations such as shot blasting, heat treatment, machining, surface finishing, assembly, and custom packaging on all our sand castings.
