Duan explained that in China, the term "motor vehicles" encompasses a wide range of road-going transport, including cars, motorcycles, agricultural vehicles, and transport tractors. He emphasized that China is not only a major player in car manufacturing but also the world’s largest motorcycle producer. Since 1997, annual motorcycle output has consistently exceeded 10 million units, accounting for over half of global production. Additionally, since 1995, China has maintained an annual output of between 2 and 3 million agricultural vehicles, further solidifying its position as a key manufacturer in the sector.
