The data receiving task of the high-scoring satellite No. 7 received a total of 616.6 GB of data, which achieved the highest data rate in China.
For the first time, the high-scoring No. 7 satellite adopts VCM (Variable Coding Modulation) technology, which can transmit more observation data downstream during the receiving time of the ground station, thus effectively improving the downlink transmission efficiency of satellite data. A civil earth observation satellite with the highest transmission efficiency of China's satellite data. To this end, China's remote sensing satellite ground station has developed a new ground data receiving device, which realizes adaptive, fully automatic and reliable reception of multiple modulation methods and multiple code rate satellite data for the first time. The highest data rate reaches 1.2Gbps*2 ( The high-scoring satellite 7 uses dual-channel data transmission with a maximum data rate of 1.2 Gbps per channel.
The high-scoring No.7 satellite is the seventh satellite successfully launched by China's high-resolution Earth observation and is the first sub-meter high-resolution optical transmission stereo mapping satellite in China. It will acquire high-resolution stereo mapping image data. Breakthroughs in high-resolution stereo mapping, high-precision satellite remote sensing and remote sensing statistical surveys in urban and rural construction. The satellite was successfully launched at 11:22 on November 3, and the Chinese remote sensing satellite ground station assumed the data receiving task of the satellite.
