I. Overview At the end of 1998, the Wuhu Power Station #11 unit installed the Philips RMS700 (old product) TSI device. Its main measurement contents include rotation speed, phase detection, differential expansion of high and low pressure cylinders, shaft displacement, and #1- # 4 watt shaft vibration, shaft eccentricity, high pressure cylinder expansion. Among them, high and low pressure cylinder differential expansion, shaft displacement, and vibration of #1-#4 watt shaft are equipped with unit protection system respectively. When the differential expansion of the high pressure cylinder exceeds +7.0mm or -1.5mm, the machine stops; the differential expansion of the low pressure cylinder exceeds + Stop at 7.5mm or -1.5mm; Axial displacement will only stop if the value on both sides exceeds _1.2mm at the same time; #1-#4Watt shaft vibration is in X direction or Y direction on either tile axis. Stop when vibration exceeds 260μm. The adjustment of the alarm value is cumbersome and the deviation is large.

In 2000, German EPRO Corporation acquired Philips TSI products to produce a new product, the MMS6000 system. This system only improved its secondary monitoring module, and still used the original system products at one time.

Second, the use of the original RMS700 system and existing problems from the # 11 unit RMS700 system with the unit overhaul in 1998 when the installation, commissioning, trial situation, the speed, phase, eccentric, high pressure cylinder expansion, high pressure cylinder The accuracy of the expansion and shaft displacement measurement is reliable and the protection action is reliable: the low-pressure cylinder differential expansion indicator is too large, the self-checking measurement system is normal, but the system error is large and there is no correction method, so the low-pressure cylinder differential expansion protection has not been put into closed-loop operation. In addition, there was a large spike disturbance signal at the time of the vibration of the #l-#4 watt shaft, which caused the shaft vibration protection to malfunction once during the test run; after the open-loop operation, there were several tripping values ​​and caused a bad influence. . After analyzing and searching for the cause of the operation, it was found that the main reason was that the outer edge of the transition joint from the probe to the proximitor was not insulated during the installation, causing signal grounding to cause interference. Second, the cable from the front-end to the host does not use well-insulated computer cables, which is also the cause of interference. The test analysis at that time ruled out the possibility of host board interference. After identifying the causes and dealing with them, they received noticeable results. At that time, the amplitude of the vibration of the #3 and #4 watt shafts fell by more than 1/3, but there was still a phenomenon of a sharp pulse signal. In order to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the shaft vibration protection operation, after the approval of the factory, a delay of 30 seconds was added after the operation, and it was put into closed-loop operation.

After nearly one and a half years of operation, the following problems have been discovered:

● There is a sharp pulse signal when # 1 # 4 watt shaft vibration, especially the # 3, # 4 watt shaft vibration signal sometimes reach the trip value, threatening the unit's safe production at all times; ● Low pressure cylinder expansion bulging indicator is too large, self-inspection The measurement system is normal, but the system error is large, there is no correction means, so the low pressure cylinder differential expansion protection has not been put into closed-loop operation;

● If #1 #4 watt shaft vibration is in the X-direction or Y-direction vibration of any tile axis exceeding 260 μm, it will be delayed for 30 seconds, which is in violation of the twenty-five countermeasures of the power plant.

III. MMS6000 System Introduction The MMS6000 system is a product of the German EPRO company introduced by Shanghai Songxuan Controlling Company. Its main contents include four MMS6110 dual-channel vibration modules, three MMS6120 dual-channel vibration modules, and two MMS6210 channels. Two shaft displacement modules, one MMS6220 dual-channel shaft eccentric module, one MMS6312 dual-channel speed module, one MMS6410 dual-channel cylinder expansion module, one VES8153 power module, and one LSl020 liquid crystal display module .

Only from the content point of view, the MMS6000 system only has 5 watts more bearing vibration than the original system, but the function of the MMS6000 system has been greatly enhanced. First, the power supply mode of the MMS6000 system is two-way redundancy, DC 24V, using diode isolation; secondly, an RS232 interface cable can be used for all module settings of the MMS6000 system to connect the interface on the module panel to a On the laptop, the measurement results and status software can be set up and displayed online.

Fourth, the successful application of the MMS6000 system in September 2001 using the # 11 unit again the opportunity for minor repairs, the host for the MMS6000 system, the front to the host after the cable is replaced with a computer cable, and the host's grounding access DCS grounding system to avoid unnecessary interference signals due to potential difference.

From the installation, commissioning and trial of the MMS6000 system in the #11 unit, the linearization was performed on the low pressure cylinder differential expansion measurement using a computer, so that during the unit start-up and load-carrying process, the differential expansion value of the low-pressure cylinder was the highest. Within the optimized linear range, the accuracy and stability of the measurement are guaranteed, and the closed-loop operation is put into one-time operation. The #1 to #4 watt shaft vibration conditions have greatly improved compared to before. From the curve point of view, the stability of the signal is good, and the values ​​of the #3 and #4 watt shaft vibrations are more obvious (see Table 1). In addition, #1-#4 watt shaft vibration protection adopts protection when the X-axis vibration value of any tile axis reaches 165 μm and the Y-direction vibration value reaches 260 μm or the Y-direction vibration value reaches 165 μm and the X-direction vibration value reaches 260 μm.
