On May 8, 2013, after a year of hard work by various participating units, the new 1 million-ton/year diesel hydrogenation unit in Shengli Oilfield Petrochemical Plant was handed in at a high standard in time, marking the construction of the plant's 3 diesel oil upgrading device. Upon successful completion, the installation will be transferred from the construction phase to the start-up phase.
Sinopec Luoyang Petrochemical Engineering Company EPC General Contracting and Shandong Shengyue Corporation's Shengli Petrochemical's 1 million-ton/year diesel hydrogenation unit is the core device for Shengli Oilfield's oil quality upgrade and reconstruction project, which is to ensure that the quality of the enterprise's diesel oil has been achieved. III. Standards and key devices for improving comprehensive processing capabilities, with a total investment of 218 million yuan. Since the start of construction in March 2012, the project construction department has implemented five major controls: safety, quality, schedule, investment, and contract, ensuring that the device has achieved high standards for completion of the project.
After the device is completed and put into production, it can make the sulfur content of vehicle diesel exhaust gas produced by Shengli Petrochemical Plant less than 350ppm national standard, effectively reducing emissions of air pollutants such as motor vehicle exhaust particulates, sulfur dioxide, and nitrogen oxides to a certain extent. Ease the contradiction between supply and demand of social diesel, and play a positive role in promoting air pollution control.
At present, the plant is stepping up preparations for the pre-equipment commissioning, and endeavors to produce qualified National 3 diesel products at the end of this month.
