Recently, Guizhou Hongfu Corporation has made the decision to expand the capacity of its phosphoric acid plant for the fourth time, in response to growing demands for high-phosphate and compound fertilizers such as ammonium phosphate. The goal is to achieve an annual production of 1 million tons of phosphoric acid, which is expected to significantly boost the company’s economic efficiency and strengthen its ability to withstand market risks. The expansion plan is being carried out in two phases. In the first phase, the company will immediately begin expanding energy capacity to increase production from 800,000 to 900,000 tons, while also preparing the seventh set of phosphoric acid concentration units. The second phase will build upon this foundation, with an additional expansion to reach a total capacity of 1 million tons. In addition to increasing production, the company is also conducting a detailed analysis of the causes of phosphorus loss during the production process. Based on these findings, targeted measures will be implemented to further improve phosphorus recovery rates and overall efficiency. This comprehensive approach not only supports long-term growth but also ensures sustainable development in the highly competitive fertilizer industry.
