Recently, Guizhou Hongfu Corporation has made the decision to expand the capacity of its phosphoric acid plant for the fourth time, in response to growing demands for high-phosphate and compound fertilizer products such as ammonium phosphate. The goal is to achieve an annual production of 1 million tons of phosphoric acid, aiming to enhance the company's overall economic efficiency and strengthen its ability to withstand market risks. The expansion plan is being carried out in two distinct phases. In the first phase, the company will immediately implement an energy expansion from 800,000 to 900,000 tons, while preparing the seventh set of phosphoric acid concentration units. The second phase will build upon this foundation, with an additional expansion of 1 million tons of energy capacity. This staged approach ensures a smooth and sustainable growth process. In addition to increasing production capacity, the company is also focusing on improving the efficiency of the phosphoric acid production process. A detailed analysis of the causes of phosphorus loss during production is underway, and targeted measures are being implemented to continuously improve phosphorus recovery rates. These efforts reflect the company’s commitment to both operational excellence and long-term sustainability.
