Critical speed of the mill

The monitoring speed of the grinding machine refers to the rotation speed of the grinding machine to a certain value, and the rotation speed of the outermost ball in the grinding machine starts to be "off-main". The critical speed is related to the diameter of the cylinder. The calculation formula is:

The above formula is derived on the assumption that the ball is a mass point, the ball does not slide relative to the wall of the cylinder, and there is no friction between them. Experimental studies have shown that when there are only a few balls or a small number of balls in the mill, no centrifugal movement is performed at the supercritical speed. Therefore, the critical speed is not critical and can only be used as a unified standard for measuring the speed of the grinding machine.
