"Bottleneck" still exists

The core technology needs to be improved

Motors and batteries are the core components of new energy vehicles. Both are indispensable. At present, China's independent technology of nickel-metal hydride, lithium-ion power battery in the energy density and power density has been significantly improved, independent research and development of the following 200kW permanent magnet brushless motor, AC induction motor and switch reluctance motor weight ratio power more than 1300w/kg , approaching the international advanced level.

Although the R&D capabilities of vehicle companies have been improved, there are few domestic parts and components companies on the road to industrialization and new energy vehicles. Although domestic companies are researching and developing, it is difficult to meet the requirements of vehicle manufacturers. “At present, new energy auto parts and components are not based on industrialization. With current capabilities, it is difficult to achieve the target of 5% of new energy vehicles in new car sales in 2011.” Li Wanli expressed concern about this.
