Recently, FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ, and will recall some imported Audi Q7 models after November 21, 2016.
Recall range:
(1) A total of 2,251 Audi Q7 models produced between August 18, 2015 and July 10, 2016;
(2) A total of 7 Audi Q7 models produced between November 11, 2015 and November 17, 2015.
Reason for recall:
(1) Due to the manufacturing problems of the vehicles within the scope of this recall, the third row of seats may shift forward when the vehicle collides, increasing the risk of passenger injury and posing a safety hazard.
(2) Due to the fact that the supplier does not protect the steering control unit circuit board from dust particles in the manufacturing process during the manufacturing process, it may cause short circuit of the circuit board and affect the steering assist function of the vehicle, resulting in inconvenient steering and safety. Hidden dangers.
Solution:
(1) FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. will install a fixed bracket for the third row of seats in the recalled vehicle. Stock vehicles will be sold after missing defects. Relevant users should drive carefully, try to avoid adding load to the third row of seats, and contact the dealer for repair as soon as possible after the recall begins.
(2) FAW-Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd. will replace the steering gear assembly for vehicles within the scope of the recall (the replaced steering gear assembly is capable of protecting against dust particles). If the relevant user finds that the vehicle dashboard turns yellow light alarm or the steering is heavy during driving, please drive carefully and contact the dealer for repair as soon as possible.
