According to Bosch staff, the economical common rail system is mainly aimed at diesel engines and is used in vehicles such as passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. At the exhibition site, Bosch also exhibited the common rail system CRS2-16 with a solenoid valve injector. After a closer look, no differences were found.
According to the introduction of the staff, the economical common rail system mainly adopts the CB08 high pressure common rail pump suitable for the original mechanical pump engine interface and fuel injectors adapted to Chinese oil products. More importantly, the economical common rail system targets the target market. The demand is very consistent: reliable, fuel-efficient and cost-effective. Since the common-rail system is suitable for light vehicles such as passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, it is more in line with the needs of target users in terms of ECU hardware design and software integration. These design improvements also reduce costs. However, the staff emphasized that the economical common rail system is a design that does not affect Bosch's design and technology and is suitable for light-duty vehicles.
