The State Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Commerce recently issued a joint document to announce the scope and standards of the 2011 old car scrapped renewal subsidy vehicles. According to the announcement, the three categories of rural passenger vehicles, city buses, and heavy-duty trucks that were included in the 2011 old auto-retirement subsidy scope must meet the specific requirements such as service life.
Among them, the subsidy standard for rural passenger vehicles is 11,000 yuan per vehicle, an increase of 0.1 million yuan. Vehicles applying for subsidy must be used for more than 6 years (inclusive) and less than 15 years. The length of the vehicle is more than 4.8 meters (inclusive), less than 7.5 meters and updated in the year. The subsidy standard for urban buses is 18,000 yuan per vehicle, an increase of 0.3 million yuan. Subsidized vehicles must be used for more than 8 years (inclusive) and less than 15 years, and be updated in the same year. The subsidy standard for heavy-duty trucks is 18,000 yuan per vehicle, an increase of 13,000 yuan. Vehicles applying for subsidy must be used for more than 10 years (inclusive) and less than 15 years. All trailers and semi-trailers without power devices are not subsidized. Within range.
What deserves special attention is that the standard for the retirement allowance for heavy trucks in 2011 has more than tripled from 2010, an increase of 260%, which is much higher than the other two models, and allows owners to only scrap and not update. Those who are concerned about the domestic truck market know that, in general, most of the heavy trucks in the hands of the first owner will be severely treated, in order to recover the cost as soon as possible, and then the cost of reselling the car as a profit. In addition to such factors as less money obtained from scrapping, lower social awareness, and profits from illegal dismantling of the industry, it is also critical that scrapped owners renew their vehicles. In the past, the conditions for claiming the retirement subsidies for old cars, the owners had to purchase new cars while scrapping the old cars, which made them even more careful about their income. After all, the cost of new purchases was much higher than legality. Scrap vehicles can get subsidies.
In 2011, changes in the range and standards of old and new cars that were retired and subsidized will give owners more choice. From the perspective of years, vehicles that have been used for more than 10 years and less than 15 years do not have much profitability even if they continue to use them, and the income flowing into illegal channels will not be very high. From the point of view of safety, environmental protection, etc., these vehicles obviously should not be on the road again. Therefore, the substantial increase in the subsidy standard is a major aspect. It is expected that the scrapping of heavy trucks will be on the right track.
