At Delfast, we always listen to our customers when developing new models. With 70% of our users based in the United States, we’ve created several powerful electric bikes like the Top 2.0, which offers incredible range and performance on rough terrain. But even with its capabilities, it still had limitations—especially when it came to extreme off-road conditions.

That’s why we decided to take things a step further. Our customers live in all kinds of climates and environments across the U.S.—from snowy mountains to desert dunes and coastal areas. We realized that a standard electric bike just wasn’t enough for those who needed a vehicle that could handle the toughest terrains year-round.

This led us to develop the Delfast Offroad TOP 3.0, a bike designed for true off-road adventures. The idea was to combine the power of our Top 2.0 platform with the ruggedness of a fat bike, creating a machine that could tackle snow, sand, mud, and more without breaking a sweat.

Of course, this wasn’t an easy task. The Top 2.0 platform is already powerful, and building on it meant handling much higher loads than traditional bikes. We had to rethink everything—from suspension systems to tire pressure and frame durability.

One of the key decisions was whether to use a high-end suspension system or rely on our own rubber-based design. In testing, we found that while premium forks like the Rockshox Bulto offered some benefits under extreme loads, they weren’t necessary for everyday riding. That’s why we opted for reinforced rubber with a metal core, which handles heavy stress far better than standard options.

As a result, the speed and range of the Offroad model are slightly lower than the Top 2.0, but the trade-off is worth it. The new bike is far more versatile, capable of handling snow, sand, and loose soil with ease. It also has a higher carrying capacity, making it ideal for long trips and outdoor activities.

Our goal was to create a bike that doesn’t just perform well—it adapts to any environment. Whether you're riding through a frozen lake in winter or a sandy beach in summer, the Delfast Offroad TOP 3.0 is built to keep going, no matter what.
