On the evening of February 19, three geological members in Shaanxi Province disappeared while operating in the Hoh Xil area, and the two provinces of Shaanxi and Qinghai jointly searched and rescued for 12 days. No traces of missing persons were found. Early in the morning on the 3rd, Shaanxi sent an additional rescue team to go to Kekexili to participate in the rescue. It plans to arrive in Xining on the evening of the 3rd, and go to the Golmud search and rescue front on the 4th.

It is understood that this rescue team consists of 38 search and rescue team members with good plateau work and field work experience, good physical fitness, and 10 rescue vehicles. They brought cold-proof clothing, satellite phones and other materials to rush to Kekexili to participate in rescue work.

At 9:30 on February 17th, three members of the Qinghai District Heavy Project of Geochemical Exploration Branch of the Shaanxi Provincial Geology and Minerals Corporation, Yang Nengchang, Rong Hao, and Gao Chongmin were assigned by the project department. On March 1, the Office of the Ministry of Land and Resources of Qinghai Province and the Search and Rescue Command conducted a news briefing on the rescue of three missing persons. The notification stated that the missing area was the Chibuzhang Lake in Kekexili, which was between 4900 and 5000 meters above sea level, and the hot spring station on the Qinghai-Tibet Highway, which was near to the west, was 300 kilometers. As of February 29, a total of approximately 1,030 square kilometers of search and rescue operations in six regions were completed. It is reported that the Qinghai District Heavy Project is a national public welfare basic adjustment project undertaken by the Geophysical Exploration Branch of the Shaanxi Provincial Geological and Mineral Corporation. The investigation area is located within the range of 90°00′-94°30′E and 33°-34°N. With an area of ​​27,490 square kilometers, the project area is approximately 500 kilometers away from the city of Golmud, far exceeding 650 kilometers.
