How to install the components of the water ring vacuum pump, there are ways!

First, install the pump shaft, bearing part

1. Install the pump shaft and the bearing as a whole from the non-drive end of the bracket into the bracket. The pump shaft can be installed into the bracket by tapping the outer ring of the bearing. Note: When hitting the bearing, place a spacer or sleeve tool on the end face to prevent damage to the bearing.

2. Install the non-drive end bearing cap and lock the bolt.

3. Install the washer, drive end bearing cover, and lock the bolt. Turn the pump shaft by hand, the pump shaft should rotate smoothly. If the pump shaft rotates, the bolt should be loosened slightly to adjust the pump shaft to a smoother rotation.

4. Install the flat key, the coupling pump shaft part, the coupling pressure plate, and the locking bolt.

Second, install the pump body, mechanical seal part

Install the mechanical seal static ring part on the pump body. When installing the mechanical seal static ring part, it can be wetted with water and evenly pressed into the pump body by hand. Note that the force should not be too strong! After assembly, check whether the static ring part of the mechanical seal is tightly assembled with the pump body.

Press the pump body against the motor and tighten the bolts. Be careful not to damage the static seal portion of the mechanical seal.

Install the washer into the motor back cover, then install the pump body, motor front cover, bearing, motor rotor, and inner bearing cover parts into the motor housing to lock the bolts.

Install the motor fan, retaining ring, motor guard, and screws in sequence. After installation, the motor fan shroud of the pump is turned upside down perpendicular to the ground, ready to install other parts of the pump.

Third, install the impeller

1. Press the impeller on the bearing, and ensure that the front end of the impeller and the pump body maintain a clearance of 0.05~0.15mm. Place the vacuum pump horizontally and check the gap. If the clearance is too small, it may cause mechanical failure of the vacuum pump; if the clearance is too large, the pumping rate of the vacuum pump will decrease.

2. After the gap between the impeller and the front end surface of the pump body is adjusted, the depth difference between the outer edge of the pump and the impeller plane is measured by the depth gauge to determine the adjustment gap retention.

Fourth, install the pump cover and disc

1. Place the motor guard vertically on the ground.

2. Place the prepared disc into the pump body. Make sure that the small hole with a diameter of 4.2 mm near the disc and the pump body is accurately combined with the positioning pin.

3. Apply a sealant evenly and continuously to the sealing surface on the side of the disc facing the pump cover. After painting, attach the pump cover to the pump body and disc and tighten the bolts. When installing the pump cover, it should be noted that the two ends of the cavitation protection tube must be installed in the corresponding holes of the disc and the pump cover.

Fifth, the overall installation of the pump cover, disc

1. Place the motor feet on the ground and the shaft is placed on the ground in a horizontal direction.

2. The pump cover and the disc form a whole. Push the pump cover onto the pump body. Note that the locating pin should align with the locating pin holes of the pump body and disc. Fasten the pump cover to the pump body with bolts.

3. After the pump is installed, turn the motor fan by hand and the pump must rotate smoothly. If the pump does not rotate smoothly or there is friction sound during the rotation of the pump, the pump cover should be disassembled to check the impeller clearance and so on.
