Good morning from Michigan! I'm here at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, and I've just arrived to start my coverage. As one of an estimated 5,000-plus journalists expected to report on this event, I’m excited to bring you the latest news and insights directly from the floor.
The auto show is buzzing with anticipation as manufacturers prepare for their press conferences. I’ll be attending several key events throughout the day, and here’s my schedule so far:
- 8:10 AM: Ford
- 8:50 AM: Toyota
- 9:25 AM: Chrysler Group
- 10:00 AM: Chevrolet
- 2:40 PM: Honda
- 3:50 PM: Nissan
I’ve already had the chance to snap a quick photo (attached), but I’ll be diving deeper into what these companies are showcasing in the coming hours. Later today, I’ll also be heading over to the Lexus press conference bright and early tomorrow to check out their new performance coupe.
