The Hanover Park Fire Department has recently been added to the MABAS Division 12 website. This department operates out of two fire stations and also oversees the city’s Department of Inspection Services, which is based in City Hall. Their operations are well-coordinated, ensuring both emergency response and public safety services are efficiently managed.
The department is equipped with a variety of units, including four fire engines, one tower ladder, and four medic ambulances. They also have a regional rehab unit, a brand new hazmat unit, and several support vehicles to assist with daily operations and emergency responses. These resources allow them to handle a wide range of incidents, from structure fires to hazardous material spills and medical emergencies.
