On September 1, 2012, JMC China National Environmental Protection Association Environmental Action Friendship Committee for Teenagers, Jiangling Motors Co., Ltd., China Automobile News, and China Automotive Journalists Association jointly sponsored the "JMC Light Truck Low-Carbon China Tour and National Tour Fuel-Saving. Experience Camp" series of public welfare activities.
On the day of the event, activities such as “Low-Carbon Logistics Salonâ€, “Kai Rui 800 Test Drive Experienceâ€, and “JMC Light Truck Low-Carbon Oil Conservancy Competition Beijing Finals†were held.
Since the launch of the event on June 9th at the first station in Hangzhou, the activity lasted for 3 months and organized a total of 19 cities across the country to carry out promotional and experience activities on low-carbon environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction. The 19 cities include Hangzhou, Harbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Chengdu, Xi'an, Taiyuan, Zhengzhou, Wuhan, Weifang, Nanjing, Shanghai, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Changsha, Nanning, and Guangzhou. On the map of China, activities along the "J", "M", and "C" lines set off a green environment with the theme of "green action, heart action, and action".
During the event, the organizers not only promoted the concept of low-carbon environmental protection to the public, but also donated plant seeds and potted plants, presented the “Low-carbon Living Handbookâ€, and went deep into the school to develop “low-carbon classrooms on campus†and “low-carbon environmental protection paintings. Activities such as "competition" taught children the knowledge of low-carbon environmental protection.
During the event, the "National Tour Fuel-Saving Experience Camp" is the highlight of the low-carbon China tour. The “Low-Carbon China trip†campaign invited JMC light truck owners and prospective owners and other environmentalists to participate in the fuel-saving experience. Everyone feels that they are fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly, and exchanges fuel-saving skills with each other to save fuel. The game and eventually chased out a list of 19 event champions. On September 1, 19 list champions gathered in Beijing for the finals, and the finals won the "Kai Rui 800".
According to incomplete statistics, a total of 57,000 low-carbon manuals, 114,000 bags of plant seeds, and 57,000 sets of environmental protection tableware were distributed in this event. Twelve games were held in low-carbon classrooms, seven low carbon environmental painting competitions were held, 5700 green backpacks and 14000 potted plants were presented. There were 1,253 volunteers involved in the basin, 208 JMC light truck owners participated in the event, and the total number of people affected by the event exceeded 200,000.
